My dad received a rather alarming phone call late last night, informing him that there was an attempt to breach his computer - apparently, the culprits were operating through YouTube Music of all things! They attempted to persuade him to take certain actions on his device, all in a bid to eventually sell him some dubious security software. They claimed to represent BT, but it’s blatantly a con!

My dad got a phone call just after midnight saying that hackers were trying to break into his computer, and bizarrely they claimed the hackers were using YouTube Music. They asked him to follow some steps on his PC, pushing him to buy some "protection" software. They said they were from BT, but it's obviously a con.

Received a rather peculiar call from this number earlier. An Asian woman, clearly working from a call centre, informed me that someone was allegedly tampering with my internet connection during the night. She claimed to be representing BT's service department, but when I mentioned that I don't even use BT for my internet, it seemed to fall on deaf ears. She insisted that I should access my computer, but when I firmly told her there was absolutely no way I’d allow her access, she simply replied, "as you wish," and abruptly hung up. Quite the odd experience!

Somebody contacted me, claiming that individuals were making attempts to breach my account. They insisted I should access my laptop to block these hackers.

The person on the phone claimed to be from BT, talking about broadband speeds, but their English was really hard to understand. I asked for a number and they gave me this one, but when I checked 147i, the call actually came from 0270859635. Such a long-winded and dodgy experience.
