After midnight, my dad got a call saying hackers were breaking into his computer, and weirdly enough, they claimed the hackers were using YouTube Music! They tried to get him to follow some steps on his PC, probably to push him into buying some sort of security program. They said they were with BT, but it's so obviously a scam.

They asked him to follow some steps on his PC, pushing him to buy some "protection" software. They said they were from BT, but it's obviously a con.

Got a ring from this number earlier. A woman with an Asian accent claimed she was from some call centre, saying hackers were breaking into my internet while I was asleep. She mentioned she was from BT’s service team, but I told her I don’t even use BT for internet, didn’t change anything. She tried to get me to open my laptop for her, but as soon as I said there’s no way she’s getting access, she just said ‘fine then’ and hung up on me.

Somebody rang me up saying my account was under attack by hackers. She told me to get on my laptop so I could stop them. She claimed she was calling from BT.

The person on the phone claimed to be from BT, talking about broadband speeds, but their English was really hard to understand. I asked for a number and they gave me this one, but when I checked 147i, the call actually came from 0270859635. Such a long-winded and dodgy experience.
