Got a call claiming to be from Three Mobile. Total con job trying to peddle fake discounts. Got rude and started swearing when I refused to share my info.

Some lady rang me saying it was about my 02 account, but I told her I’ve never had anything to do with 02 so she’s gotta be a scammer or just spam. She kept insisting that I definitely had an 02 account and I should pay attention to her. I said I’d block the number and report it, then she just hung up on me.

Pretty sure this number claimed to be from O2. Didn’t pick up.

I didnt pick up the call cos I had a feeling it was one of those dodgy scam calls, and seems like I was spot on.

Got a call from this number out of the blue today, didn’t pick up as I didn’t know who it was. It went through to my voicemail but no message was left, which usually points to either a scam or some annoying sales pitch. So, I’ve blocked the number now.

I received a call from this number at precisely 12:10 this afternoon.

I've gotten loads of calls from a woman with what sounds like an Indian or Pakistani accent, saying she's from O2 and can give me 30% off my bill. Whenever I ask her to prove she knows my account number or address, she just hangs up. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.

It's clear this is a con, yet I've been scouring the internet for a new mobile device. I reckon one of those comparison sites must have leaked my information.

This seems like a complete con, best to block this number. I'm baffled as to how they've managed to get hold of our Vodafone details!

020 3286 9349 - Vodafone again, ringing me up asking for my email. They called me two times. I told them to buzz off.

Terrible call, so I just hung up. Then the bloke called back straight away asking why I ended the call! He kept going on about some 30% discount with Vodafone and was really pushy. Told him I wasn’t interested and he ended the call. Should’ve been tougher and told him to get lost next time. Feels like it might’ve been a scam.

I rang the number back but it just said the call couldn't go through. Pretty sure it’s a scam!

Received a dodgy call purportedly from India, but it flashed a London number on my phone. They were going on about my O2 account, which is quite amusing since I’m actually with EE! Beware of this ruse!

They said they were from Vodafone, but I don’t deal with them so I just ended the call.

I found the conversation rather perplexing due to her thick accent, but I managed to inquire whether she was attempting to peddle something to me. I made it clear that I don’t entertain purchases over the phone. She offered an apology, and I insisted she refrain from calling me again. To my utter astonishment, she told me to shove off before abruptly ending the call! I'd advise avoiding any interaction with this number.

Received a call from Vodafone, so I decided to cut the line promptly.

They called me 3 times within a few minutes but didnt leave any message.

A man with an Asian accent called and asked if my missus wanted to buy bras. She said yes, size 50FF, and he just cut off the call!

My phone showed it might be spam, so I didn’t pick up. They rang me twice in just a couple of minutes. I looked it up here and have now blocked the number.

I was presented with a tempting 30% reduction on my O2 account. However, when I inquired about my current payment, the person insisted he could only tell me if I provided my email. It became apparent that whenever I sought clarification regarding my account details, he couldn't produce any answers. In the end, I decided to terminate the call, as it seemed like a clear case of a scam.

This was definitely a scam call.

Received a call that supposedly came from 02. I mentioned that I’m on the TPS list and, to be honest, I couldn’t make heads or tails of what he was saying. He hung up on me abruptly.

I received a call purporting to be from Vodafone, offering a rather enticing 30% discount. Given that my bill barely exceeds £10 a month and I've just sorted out my contract, I found it rather dubious. The caller was speaking at a rapid pace, apart from when he mentioned the discount, and his overall tone was rather aggressive-definitely not in keeping with the courteous service I've always experienced from Vodafone. He pressed me for my email address, and when I declined, citing that this was an unsolicited call, he became increasingly insistent under the guise of “security reasons.” His repetitive command of "Listen to me" was quite off-putting. He claimed he already possessed my email and just needed to verify my identity, prompting me to suggest he send the information via email. He bluntly asserted that the offer was exclusive to phone calls, which I found utterly unreasonable, maintaining my stance. His persistence grew more intrusive, and after yet another forceful “Listen to me," I finally told him I didn’t believe him and ended the call. This number appears to be a landline, and considering the numerous reports that have surfaced, isn’t there a way for the landline provider to eliminate this number, as it seems to be linked to fraudulent activities? My 93-year-old aunt is quite astute with her mobile phone, and I’m confident she wouldn’t fall for such trickery. Alas, many individuals, particularly those facing financial difficulties, may be more susceptible to this type of con.

Oh dear! A chap calling himself 'Sebastian' buzzed me, trying to lure me in with a 40% discount. Given that my monthly bill's just a fiver or so, it hardly makes a dent, does it? I had a good laugh when he messed up the name of my provider. I told him that if he were genuine, he'd have all my info at his fingertips, but it seems that's too much to ask. Honestly, the audacity of these people is utterly ridiculous. They're nothing but a bunch of brazen, thieving knaves!

I received a call from this number, but I chose to let it ring out. They later left a voicemail, but oddly enough, there was nothing on it. This makes the third time I’ve been contacted by them, and each time I've simply brushed it off.

Be wary, folks! I just received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be with O2, and they tried to get me to disclose a code. Whatever you do, don’t give them that code! If you do, it could let them into your account. Stay safe!

This number keeps calling me relentlessly. I've decided to ignore it from now on, and I'm planning to block it altogether.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was from o2, but his language was really rude.

This guy claimed to be from o2 but had like the worst Indian accent ive ever heard! He sent me two texts but i just deleted them straight away and hung up the phone.

Received a call from someone masquerading as O2. Instantly suspicious, I asked who was on the line, as I was certain it wasn’t a legitimate O2 number. They just flatly denied it and then promptly disconnected. Very dodgy!

I ignored it, never really trust calls from landlines in parts of the country I’ve got no connection to.

I got a phone call earlier and I'm only 14, they said they were from O2 and offered me 40% off my bill. I knew it was dodgy straight away because they asked for my bank info, but I dont even have a proper bank account yet. So if you get a call like that, just hang up, block the number and make sure you report it.

I just had a call providing me with a 30% discount. Strangely enough, I received a similar offer from Leicester just the day before!

I've had a go at this three times now. Someone keeps ringing me, claiming they're from O2 and offering some sort of discount. They give you a code and want you to repeat it back to them, but trust me, don’t fall for it. I called up the genuine O2, and they advised against sharing any codes as this person could potentially access your device and personal account. Stay safe!

Received a call from this number, and the person on the line had an Indian accent. He tried to convince me that he could offer me amazing discounts on my phone bill, yet proceeded to ask me questions that O2 should have been familiar with. To make matters worse, he couldn't even provide my account number! So, I decided to play along and waste his time, throwing in all sorts of nonsense, which visibly irritated him-serves him right! It was quite amusing to watch him get all flustered, completely forgetting what he had said and losing track of his script. What a delightful experience. 😊 😃 😄

I received a call purporting to be from Vodafone, suggesting that certain customers could enjoy a reduction on their monthly fees. However, upon checking with Vodafone, they clarified that this number is not one they use to reach out to clients. Sounds a bit dodgy to me!
