Some woman rang me pretending to be from Century Finance, telling me my loan was approved. I gave them £75, expecting the cash by 2:20 that afternoon, but it never arrived. When I called back to get my money, they just hung up after I called them a scam. I’m gutted because now I’ve no food money left for my kids. My four-year-old has disabilities, and it’s just so frustrating that they’ve basically stolen from my family when we’re already struggling. It’s heartbreaking to think I had to spend our last pennies on this rubbish.

Some woman said she was from Century Finance, told me my loan got approved, so I gave them £75. They promised the cash would be in my account by 2:20pm, but it never showed. When I called back to ask for my money, they just hung up after I mentioned it felt like a scam. I’m heartbroken because now I’ve lost the money meant for my kids’ food. My little one’s disabled and I’m just so mad that they’ve taken what little we had, leaving us struggling even more.

My retired neighbours have received multiple calls from an individual claiming that they are owed £2500 and need to purchase £100 worth of Neosurf cards to access these funds. They've even been told that a solicitor named Sophie Wilkinson will personally drop off the cash. Furthermore, they were instructed that this process is backed by the government’s Claims Regulation and Management guidelines, which they should verify on the internet.

It appears that my elderly neighbours have received multiple phone calls from an individual claiming they are owed £2,500. They've been told that in order to claim this money, they must purchase £100 worth of Neosurf cards. The caller even went so far as to mention a solicitor by the name of Sophie Wilkinson, who supposedly will be hand-delivering the cash. Moreover, they were advised that this operation is in alignment with the so-called Claims Regulation and Management guidelines laid out by the government, which they should verify online. All of this comes from someone identified as being associated with PPI.
