I received a call from the number 0203 286 8067 claiming to be affiliated with the county court in London. They mentioned something about a cheque awaiting me from the Euro Lottery, which apparently has gone belly up. They instructed me that I’d need to fork out £100 via Google Play after the cheque had cleared, but I was also told that I’d have to present the Google Play card to the delivery driver when it arrived. Sounds rather suspicious, if you ask me!

A chap with a South Asian accent called today, asserting he was from the London County Court, saying he had a PPI cheque for me from NatWest. He insisted I’d need to cough up a £100 delivery fee before they could send it over. It’s obvious this is a dodgy scheme!
