She told me i won a lottery or something and that they’d send someone round with the money in a suitcase. After they drop it off, they said i needed to pay £300 electronically for delivery insurance. It all sounded a bit dodgy to me.Europe6 yearsI got a call saying I needed to cough up £400 in Amazon vouchers or a SIM card or something, then two blokes would turn up at a set time with £39,000 in cash (like I could even deposit that at my bank). They said the cash exchange could happen somewhere neutral, not at my place. They’d verify the Amazon cards, I’d punch in some briefcase code they gave me over the phone, show ID or passport as proof of identity, and then supposedly get the money.
