Total scam! They rang up saying my internet was slow and something wrong with my network. When I asked who my provider was, the woman replied something sounding like “Virgin” but she spoke so quick I wasn’t sure. Weirdly, she called me “Sir” a few times even though I’m a woman. Then she said they’d fix my network issue for free if I agreed to carry on. I declined as I’m not even with that provider, but they kept jabbering on for ages trying to confuse me with fancy phrases that didn’t really add up when you actually think about it. Felt like a proper dodgy call.
