This number keeps ringing me nonstop, with someone claiming to be from BT. They’re super pushy and just won’t stop, even after I told them I’d contact the police. Honestly, these scammers have no shame... so frustrating!!

I got a call from this number claiming there was an issue with my internet and that BT were going to cut my service off. Wasn’t convinced it was legit, so I asked for their number, and this is it. I’ve had a few calls like this before, but normally when I asked for the number, they’d just hang up on me straight away.

I look after an old lady and got a phone call warning that the internet would be cut off because someone was trying to hack the connection. I told the caller they weren’t allowed to do that and said I’d ring the internet company myself and have them get in touch. The person said her name was Jessica and gave me a number, claiming she worked for BT Telecom. It didn’t feel right at all, and I reckon it was a scam.

My mum got a call from a person telling her her Windows PC was going to get locked if she didn’t take some action. They left this phone number for her to call back. I’m not thinking of phoning them though, ’cause it’s clearly a dodgy scam.
