Got a call today at about 11:10am on Tuesday 27th Nov 2018, and also last night. It was some woman’s voice, pre-recorded, saying I’m under tax investigation for fraud with HMRC. Told me to ring a certain number. Total scam! Don’t even think about calling back, just block the number straight away!

WARNING SCAM ALERT 0203 286 6416 - I rang them back after seeing reviews here and they pretended to be from HMRC, saying I was under some criminal probe related to my job. I told the bloke I’d double-check by contacting HMRC directly through their official site, and he quickly said I was just wasting his time before hanging up on me. Definitely a scam, I’m reporting it to HMRC right now. Stay warned!

Had a pretty similar thing happen to me. I told them my name but as soon as they asked for my address I wasn’t having it cause they seemed a bit shady. I asked them why they needed it and then suddenly they acted like they couldn’t hear me and just hung up! Tried ringing them back but all I got was them saying they’d call me again. Still no call, weird huh?

Wow, just had a call from this number (002032866416) with a recorded voice. I ended up telling them my name before realising something was off. The man said his name was Officer Alex Thomas with ID 6441 and spoke with a strong South Asian accent. When I pressed him about the reason for the supposed arrest warrant, he couldn't answer and I quickly ended the call. Watch out folks!

Got a call claiming I was due a tax rebate, sounded totally fishy. They were pushing hard, saying I owed money or something but it was all rubbish. Pretty sure it was just a scam trying to trick me out of my details. Wouldn't trust it one bit!
