Every time I attempted to pick up the call, it would drop immediately.

I received a call from a chap the other day who turned out to be a right con artist! I have to admit, he had quite the convincing spiel. Just a heads-up for everyone-stay on your toes! He introduced himself as being from "BT Openreach Technical Support" and went on about some supposed issues with our broadband. His pitch was alarmingly detailed, claiming that our connection was at risk of being cut off due to "suspicious activity linked to our IP address." Quite the nerve these people have, really!
