Got a call from an Asian man who said his name was Kevin. He claimed my BT internet IP had been compromised or hacked or something. He gave me a number to ring back and mentioned some IP address too. I told him I’d look into it and get back to him, then hung up and contacted BT straight away to report it.

I got a call from an Asian lady who said her name was Nancy Smith and that she worked for BT Tech Services. She claimed hackers were trying to break into my computer. She even emailed me, pretending it was from BT to prove who she was. When I asked for a phone number, she gave me 020332862928. But when I rang back, nobody answered.

I got calls about 5 or 6 times from a lady with an Asian accent, saying she was Rosie Brown from some BT Tech Services. She kept telling me there was an issue with my internet that she could sort out, but I’m not even a BT customer. After a while, I rang BT’s official operator to check if it was legit, and they told me it was a scam and to just hang up on them!
