So, I got a call from someone claiming to be Spider-Man from British Gas, or Peter Parker or something like that. When I said their prices were too high, he suddenly started talking about OPUS Energy instead. I found it hilarious since I never expected British Gas to push deals from their rivals. Honestly, seems like a total scam to me.

Honestly, these people seem totally untrained, like they haven't got a clue how to talk to anyone properly. It's like they haven't got their heads screwed on at all.

Hey all, Just a quick heads up from the Admin side. We've noticed loads of poor reviews popping up for the phone number 02032874277, but strangely they all come from the same person. Oddly enough, the very same IP address is posting positive feedback for 02032862617. Both numbers connect back to call centres in India, and it looks like they might be rival companies. The IP traces back to Amritsar, Punjab in India. Cheers, Admin

Just got a ring from some bloke called Satwinder trying to sell me these brightway condoms or summat. He couldn’t even speak proper English. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he went all mad and started making barking noises like a dog, bau... bau... ridiculous!

I got a call from someone named Ravi who couldn’t really speak English well. His accent sounded Nepalese and I had no idea what he was trying to tell me. Feels like it might be one of those scams.

So, we went ahead and signed up with Sarah again for our energy bills this year. Honestly, she's brilliant to chat to - speedy, polite, knows exactly what she’s doing, and always ready to help out. Couldn’t ask for better. Cheers, Whiteside

Keep getting calls from numbers starting with +220 or blocked, all with that classic India-style accent. They sound a bit clever, giving some info that seems right, but it's defo not British Gas ringing about a business electric contract. They dropped the name "Will" who was meant to answer on 2032862617. Don't ever give out your details to them - always phone your supplier directly. Today I spoke to someone called Ravi Tamang (same name I saw on an Eon scam post), supposedly a Senior Manager, and before that, some guy named Sheru called. They probably just fake their own positive reviews too...

Really pleased with the help I got here. The guy I dealt with was friendly and knew his stuff well. He gave me lots of useful info, numbers and prices, and walked me through everything smoothly and professionally. If you’re looking for a new energy supplier or just want a better deal, I’d definitely tell you to get in touch with them.

Some guy called me from the same number, said his name was Ravi Pakhrin or something, spoke with a thick Nepali accent. He kept nagging me to buy an Amazon gift card and read out the 14 digit code. Honestly, felt like a scammer trying to pull a fast one. Stay well clear of these fraudsters!

We have been getting calls from a guy with a strong Asian accent who says he’s from EON. After checking with EON, it turns out he’s not really connected to them. This bloke is really pushy and borderline rude. He rings daily, ignoring requests to stop, and can be quite aggressive when he doesn’t get what he wants. At one point, when told the person he wanted wasn’t home, he outright called us liars. Honestly, he’s a bit of a nightmare and could easily trick someone more vulnerable into giving away personal info.

What I really appreciated was how straightforward everything was, no fancy tricks or nonsense. It honestly seemed like they had the company's best interests at heart, not just their own. Plus, the outcome was great - we ended up saving nearly £1,000 on our gas and electric costs throughout the year. Super pleased with how it turned out.

The call was really straightforward and the person sounded nice, no pushy sales talk at all. They just gave a clear quote and explained the sign-up, which made things quick for us. We ended up going for a 3 year contract, which has been great for saving the company both time and money.

I just had a call from some bloke called Dan Bhadur or whatever, his English was awful. He kept trying to trick me into giving my credit card details. Honestly, I reckon he’s a total con man. Don’t hand over any of your private info to these dodgy individuals, they’re not to be trusted at all. What a load of rubbish!

I have to say, Harry’s no-nonsense style really impressed me, and thanks to him I managed to cut my gas and electric bills nearly in half. Even though I’m probably one of their smaller customers, they made me feel like I was their top priority.

Got a phone call from someone who said their name was Harry and that they worked for British Gas, telling me about renewing energy contracts, even though mine’s not up till Spring 2018. The bloke’s English was so bad, I could barely make out what he was saying.

The service I got was really good. They were friendly, knew their stuff well, and very polite the whole time. I got clear facts, quotes and numbers, and they helped me step by step in a professional but nice way. If you’re after a new energy supplier or just want a better deal, I’d definitely suggest giving them a shout.

Got a call from someone sounding foreign, talking about EON energy, but their English was really hard to make out. When I tried to respond in English without sticking to a script, they just got rude and totally refused to give a callback number so I could verify if the company was legit. Absolutely shocking attitude. I hadn’t asked for the call at all. Honestly, dealing with them is just a massive headache.

Use your own damn words when messaging someone. Don’t just be a weak copycat, seriously.

I’ve had 3 calls from someone called “Harry” saying he’s from Eon. But I find that odd as Eon don’t ring their customers - we’re supposed to contact them if we want a better deal, which is bad enough. “Harry” told me my energy renewal was coming up, which it isn’t, and promised a cheaper tariff. When I asked for the withheld number, he said it was 02032862617, which he claimed was Coventry, where Eon’s based. Then when I asked for my Eon account number, he gave a wrong one! So I’m pretty sure this bloke isn’t really with Eon. He also wanted me to find a bill to chat about my current prices, but I didn’t bother. Despite being on the TPS registry, “Harry” keeps calling, and honestly, the TPS seems to do nothing about it. These annoying calls really ought to be made illegal.

I got a call from this number, and honestly, it was super hard to get what the bloke was saying because his English was quite bad. I ended up telling him to maybe head back to his homeland and pick up some proper English first.

Answered a call from this number and a lady with an Indian accent introduced herself as Sarah from Eon Energy. She claimed to be offering quotes for our company's electricity supply. Normally, we do deal with Eon Energy for our electricity, but her manner was nothing like the usual reps we speak with. I told her to ring back the next day when I had all our paperwork ready. Afterwards, I rang Eon Energy directly to confirm if the call was genuine. They had no record of any such contact and mentioned they’d always provide a reference number in any official call. When she rang again the next day, she couldn’t give me our reference number nor send an email with the details. I ended the call there - what a total waste of time!

I received a call from someone named Alex Parker, speaking with a strong Indian accent. He was really pushy and rude, trying to get me to sign up for an electricity contract. Later, I contacted British Gas and they warned me to stay away from him, saying he’s a scammer.
