I rang up an 0800 number related to HP printers and shortly after, I received a callback from the number in question. The caller was asking for remote access to my laptop. As soon as that request was made, I ended the call immediately. Following that, I was bombarded with persistent calls from the same number, which I chose to ignore.

The number 0203 286 2489 is definitely a scam, and it appears to be linked to H Packard ENTERPRISE in some shady way. I stumbled upon it whilst browsing a legitimate HP website. When I reached out to HP for assistance, their response was anything but supportive. The person I spoke to, who identified themselves as being from an office at 81 Newgate in London, didn’t seem credible at all - this address is actually the head office of BT!
