Building on my previous message: I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said sorry for dropping the call and thanked me for ringing Customer Support. I told him he called me, not the other way around. He went on, saying they found an attempt to hack from abroad and needed to do a remote check. Then he asked if I was on a laptop or a desktop. I gave him the wrong answer on purpose. Next, he asked if I had a smartphone. I said no, and then he just ended the call.
