Got a call from someone claiming to be from a loan firm, said I could get a £5000 loan over 5 years with payments of £100 each month, sounded too good to be true. Then they wanted me to cough up £100 straight away before the money would hit my bank, kept saying that cash would show up within 30 minutes after paying. She was really pushy, wouldn’t stop repeating it. I pretended to be interested for a bit but quickly caught on that it was a scam. Don’t share any personal info and watch out for this kind of trickery!

Got a call from this number a few times today, they said they were from some loan company and kept mentioning a loan application. I told them I never applied for anything and just ended the call. Then they rang again but the line was all distorted. Honestly, best thing to do is just hang up right away.
