AVOID CALLING THIS NUMBER I got really suspicious when they asked me to give 3 digits from the back of my card and also to confirm my date of birth. I was worried because I’d received three texts warning about fraud attempts on my bank account, and it said my account was frozen. When I asked to be put through to the TSB fraud team, I got passed to a message saying all agents were busy but to keep holding, it’d be answered soon. I left it on for over an hour - 1 hour 15 minutes to be exact - and then the call just dropped with nobody ever answering.

Just got a ring from this number as well, some bloke with an accent that sounded a bit like West Country. Said he was from TSB fraud team, but honestly it was a scam. He was quite convincing though. Best to just hang up right away, don’t engage with them at all and give your bank a call. Once they've got your number, they might already have a bit of your info.

Got a call tonight from someone claiming to be from TSB fraud dept saying £479.99 had been taken from my account and needed to confirm it was me. Of course, it wasnt me at all. They put me on hold so I checked the number - total scam. Ended the call and blocked them straight away. Absolute cheeky scammers, disgusting lot.

Some bloke called claiming to be from my bank’s fraud department, said he was trying to block a dodgy payment. Did the usual spiel, but then asked for a code sent to my phone to “cancel” it, which turned out to be the Apple Pay activation code. I didn’t give it and he got proper narky, swore, then just hung up.

Got a call from some muppet who rattled off the last four digits of my account and my name. Claimed he was from TSB and said they’d blocked a payment from a UK firm. I rang my bank and turns out its a scam. Those good reviews are probably just the scammers trying to make it look real. Looks like they’ve been sold info from somewhere that already had some direct debit details plus name and number. Seriously, watch out, it’s a proper con.

Got a call from some scammers pretending to be the TSB Fraud Team, asking if I’d approved ApplePay transactions on my account. Funny thing is, I’d just spoken to the genuine fraud dept at TSB earlier today about some dodgy activity, so I reckon the scam call was linked to that. The noise in the background on the fake call sounded like a busy call centre, but when I questioned 'David', he just abruptly ended the call.

This has to be a scam. They called me asking if I’d noticed a big fraudulent payment (mine was from some phone company) over £400 and then wanted the digits from the back of my card. Got a call on 31.03.21 about 4:48pm from 02032841575. The person on the line knew my full name and claimed to be from TSB bank. His accent was really thick, making it quite hard to catch what he was saying at times. But I knew it wasn’t really the bank because banks never ring you up - they always send letters. I told him I was busy and would contact the bank myself if there was an issue. He tried to insist he was from the bank and said my money could be at risk if I didn't speak to him immediately. In the end, I just said goodbye. Definitely scammers, no doubt.

I received a call from a polite English woman from this number who was inquiring about a direct debit that I had recently arranged. Despite being quite charming, I couldn't help but indulge in amusement considering my 21-year experience in investigating telecom fraud. Eventually, I told her bluntly that she wasn't very skilled at her job. Her reaction was quite shocking as she seemed offended and promptly terminated the call, which is not how one would expect a trustworthy and authentic TSB employee working in their fraud department to behave. I strongly advise everyone to not give any personal information to these dishonest individuals. Although it was entertaining for me, it's important to be cautious and not be deceived by their tactics.

Pretended to be from TSB and said someone’s been trying to put a Direct Debit of £250 through on my account. Asked for my date of birth and already knew my email address, claimed I’d been targeted by fraud. Also wanted my home address. Mentioned some payments supposedly made to Just Eat. Got a call just before midnight from a young man with an Afro-Caribbean accent claiming to be from Barclays' fraud department. He said he needed to verify a direct debit on my account. Honestly, I was 1) pretty irritated to be woken up so late and 2) really wary given I’d recently fallen foul to a banking scam. I told him I’d ring Barclays fraud team myself in the morning. Fortunately, the caller's unprofessional manner and aggressive tone made it evident that something was amiss. Then I got a text from that number saying: TSB ALERT: Please confirm recent activity. JOHN LEWIS £72.00 DECLINED. Reply ‘Y’ if you did this, ‘N’ if not. I replied ‘N’ and shortly after got a call from a woman named Daisy, asking me to verify info to access my account. I hung up straight away. No luck so far, I've been on hold for 32 minutes trying to reach fraud dept.

Got a call from a young guy saying there was a weird order made on Amazon and a direct debit arranged for Carphone Warehouse. He had my full name, my address, last four digits of my bank account, number of accounts I hold, and even how much money was in them. What really freaked me out tho was he also knew the answer to one of my security questions. I felt uneasy straight away, told him I'd ring my bank branch myself and then ended the call.

This is a clever scam where they fake a proper TSB phone number and send you texts pretending to be from TSB. They claim youve been scammed and act just like the real bank fraud team would. They’ll say they need to change your account number and sort code for safety. The one tell is when they ask you to send the money yourself to the new account. Don’t do that! Actual banks will move your money without asking you to handle the transfer.

Got a call telling me I had a Direct Debit sorted on my account. They started rattling off some account info. I told him, "Hey mate, you haven’t asked for any security checks, you shouldn’t be sharing that stuff." He got all defensive and tried to argue. So I just ended the call.

‭02032841575‬ rang me claiming there was some fraud on my account. They had loads of my info and said someone was opening accounts and DDs, plus making card transactions. I rang my bank and they said it wasn’t them. The number pops up as a TSB inbound line but they swear they never call out from it. Thankfully, I didn’t fall for it and didn’t give any details, though they seemed to know quite a bit anyway. My bank have now cancelled my card and are sending a new one. Seriously, DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER IF IT CALLS YOU!!! X

total scam! got a call claiming to be from tsb about some dodgy charges, like £300 at carphone warehouse and some other shop. the woman asked for my full name, i said i’d call back instead, and she didn’t sound happy at all. rang tsb myself to verify the number, and they said it wasn’t theirs and there was no weird activity on my account.

I called this number to try and stop a direct debit and felt a bit uneasy reading some of these reviews while I was on the phone, but they sorted everything out and the cash was refunded to my account.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from TSB fraud team, said there was weird activity on my account. He had all my info, which freaked me out, coz I’d just got a dodgy text from O2 about my O2 debit a couple days ago, asking for my bank details. I gave them over, but as soon as I did, I knew it was dodgy and blocked my account straight away. This caller mentioned the O2 text too, so same scammers for sure. I hung up when he asked me to move money to another account to “keep it safe”. I called TSB myself and they said it was all a scam. They can sound really convincing, so watch out!

I got a call from 02032841575 on my phone. A lady said she was from tsb and mentioned a £985 transaction they'd supposedly spotted in Italy an hour from now, connected to my account. Thing is, i’ve never had an account with tsb, but weirdly she knew my name. Felt definitely dodgy and like a scam!

I received a call from a fraudulent individual pretending to be from TSB, informing me about suspicious transactions on my credit card. However, I want to clarify that I do not even have a TSB credit card. Initially, the person seemed convincing, but things took a suspicious turn when they requested me to transfer all my bank accounts into their specialized account. I have promptly reported this incident to both my bank and the police action fraud department.

Recently, I received a call from someone claiming to be from TSB, stating that there had been suspicious activity on my account. Clearly, they were trying to obtain my banking details. Being cautious, I declined to share any information over the phone with an unsolicited caller and informed them that I would contact the bank directly using the fraud hotline. The caller persistently urged me not to do so, mentioning an alleged 90-minute wait time and warning me that I would not receive any refund for fraudulent transactions if I proceeded. Sensing something fishy, I ended the call and immediately contacted the bank. They confirmed my suspicion: the call was indeed fraudulent. Subsequently, I have received additional calls from the same number, but I have chosen not to answer them.

02032841575 is definitely a scam pretending to be TSB. They rang me claiming some direct debits were arranged on my account and that they would post me a new bank card linked to my TSB account. I ended the call straight away and contacted TSB using the official number, who confirmed it’s not their number and it’s a fraud. I’ve blocked them now. If you get a call from this number, do not trust it, it’s a scam.

I received a call from this number informing me that direct debits had been set up on my account. They claimed that they wanted to send me a new card with a different bank account number and sort code, and they also mentioned linking the new card to my existing TSB card. Sensing something fishy, I quickly ended the call, blocked the number, and promptly contacted TSB to notify them of the situation.
