5 monthsTOTALLY A SCAM!! Got a call from some 'Housing Assist' lot about damage to a place I supposedly rent through a housing association. They hadn’t a clue who I was or the address, just kept saying there was a crack or some sort of damage. Thing is, I’m a leaseholder, I don't actually rent anywhere. Told them to erase my info from their system. This isn’t the first time I’ve had calls from these guys, and last time I asked them to remove me but they clearly never did. Gonna keep an eye on this mess, for sure.5 monthsGot a call about fixing my house, which set me on edge since they actually used my name. I’ve never shared my mobile with anyone, so I reckon they must’ve grabbed it from some dodgy database. Bit worrying, to be honest.5 monthsI got a call from someone named Alan, said he was with housing repairs 'about some damage to the property.' When I told him there was no damage, he just said sorry and then ended the call. Same as what everyone else said really.Alan5 monthsLooks like another council house repair scam to me. They ring from all sorts of numbers. This one called me before on 3rd Dec 2026 and now again on 23rd Jan 2026. No website to back them up and when I asked who they were with, they couldn’t give any proper info. Plus, the background noise made it sound like a call centre somewhere like India or Pakistan. Definitely dodgy.IndiaPakistan6 monthsGot a call from some spam number, didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave any voicemail. So, just went ahead and blocked it.6 monthsJust got hit with another scam call, came only a few minutes after the first one, so I blocked them straight away.6 monthsGot a call from some bloke saying his name was Alan and he was from the council housing office, talking about supposed damage and fixing stuff. He spoke with a thick Indian accent, which threw me a bit. I've never put in any claim or asked for repairs at my place. When I told him everything’s alright, he just said they’d update their records and then ended the call. Pretty odd experience, to be honest.Alan6 monthsHonestly, what's the use of TPS when they don't stop these spam calls? It's really frustrating how those numbers just keep ringing despite being on the list.TPS6 monthsBeen getting these calls about housing repairs again, ive already blocked loads of numbers that sound almost the same, especially a womans voice whos been ringing nonstop from different numbers, I can spot her right away now. Ive blocked every single one but they still keep coming. It's mad how many different numbers they have but they do. Im blocking this one now, but they’ll just ring from somewhere else soon. These are proper nasty scammers and no one seems to be able to do anything about it.6 monthsGot a call from someone saying they were from housing, saying there was damage to my place. When I questioned them, they just ended the call. Seems like a scam to me.6 monthsGot a call from this dodgy number while I was abroad dealing with housing stuff. You do remember your accident, right?" I just hung up straight away because I've never been in any accident. Not sure what their scam was meant to be, but it felt really off and creepy getting that kind of call from someone I don't know.8 monthsGot a call about some electrical work needing fixing at my home. I’m an electrician myself so I asked who had reported it, and they just hung up on me right after I mentioned that. Weird behaviour if you ask me.8 monthsIt took ages before someone actually spoke after I picked up the phone (bit sus right from the start). They called me by my first name and started asking about damage to my home. Since there’s no damage at all, I instantly knew it was a scam. Ended the call straight away as I didn’t feel like wasting time with their nonsense.8 months020 3278 9982 This lady said she was ringing about the housing repair I'd supposedly reported.
