7 yearsI received a call asking for my address, and they mentioned that the inquiry was linked to Black Horse.Horse7 yearsHey everyone, instead of just grumbling about these con artists, why not take a leaf out of my book? I usually string them along for ages; it’s quite amusing really. Just recently, I managed to waste 51 minutes of their time with a load of made-up info! My aim is to keep one on the blower for over an hour one day. And if you happen to share some bank account and sort code details belonging to local officials or legal eagles you know, who knows, it could spark some action against these dodgy scammers!7 yearsI had a rather curious phone call the other day from a gentleman claiming I was entitled to a PPI repayment of £2200. Naturally, I inquired if it was indeed a scam, to which he cited some official-sounding organisation. He mentioned he would call back in a few days to sort out the delivery of a cheque. He kept his promise and rang me again, but when I told him I was unavailable, he insisted on trying again on Wednesday, 20th November, at 10 o'clock. I'm intrigued to see if he follows through with that call. I'm certainly not dishing out any personal information-I can only speculate what the actual con might be!7 yearsI received a call from a bloke saying he wanted to send me a cheque for £2750 due to some mishandled PPI. He already had my name and address but was probing for my date of birth. I told him to drop me an email instead, as I wasn’t keen on divulging any personal info over the phone. However, no email ever came through, and when I attempted to ring the number back, there was just silence on the line! Quite dodgy, if you ask me.7 yearsI received a rather insistent call from someone claiming I’d won a cheque for £2750. They were knowledgeable about my name and address but were quite keen on getting my date of birth. They mentioned they’d call back the following day to arrange delivering the cheque. It’s baffling, really! I believe the outfit they were representing was something along the lines of "blame.uk". How strange!7 yearsI recently received a rather perplexing call from this number with the caller looking for someone else entirely. When I informed them that they’d dialed incorrectly, they had the gall to insist, "Oh, this is the correct number, it must be you!" Excuse me? I’m quite aware of my own identity, thank you very much. Their tone was incredibly rude and downright impertinent!7 yearsReceived a phone call today purporting to be from a company named Canary Claims, stating that my PPI claim had been given the green light. They were quite insistent on confirming my address, postcode, and date of birth. They mentioned 78 Beckham Rd, BR3 4RH, but I couldn't find it on Google Maps-strange! I've reached out to the official Canary Claims website to verify whether they're actually trying to get in touch with me. It completely baffles me why culprits behind these fraudulent calls aren't dealt with more decisively. Come on, Government, we need action on this!Canary ClaimsBeckhamMapsGovernment7 yearsI just received a call informing me that they're coming to drop off a PPI cheque tomorrow at 4:30.Submit Your Own Report (020 3265 9864)
