Received a call claiming I’d bagged a grand from an online EuroMillions competition-absolutely ridiculous! I couldn't help but chuckle at the blokes on the other end, who sounded utterly clueless and struggled to string a proper sentence together in English.

I had a rather dodgy encounter with someone claiming to be from HMRC. One of our acquaintances, who hails from India, received a call and when he was asked what his requirements were, he simply hung up. It’s wise to withhold any personal details from these chancers. If they genuinely need to communicate, they’ll send a letter instead!
