Got another call like this, silence right after I picked up, then it just ended. This is the second time this week I've been called by what looks like a scammer using numbers that are almost identical - just a couple of digits different, like +44 20 3261 2---. Feels pointless blocking them since they just switch numbers and keep bothering me regardless!

Got a call from someone who definitely didn’t sound local, claiming to be from my mobile network offering a 40% discount on my monthly charges. When I asked for their name, they gave the right one, which seemed a bit fishy since I reckon they already knew it. After a bit, they just ended the call - felt really dodgy to me.
