Today, I received a dodgy call offering insurance for washing machines, but could easily be something else. The caller claimed to be from a company called AST, pitching a three-year fixed price plan. The number was a London one, 02032602573, and the voice had a very English accent. The whole thing sounded pretty polished, and when I asked a few questions, they passed me to a supervisor. But when I kept pressing for answers, the supervisor just hung up. I've reported the incident now. Just stay alert, folks!

I answered the phone but it just went silent, so I tried ringing back and it said 'number not recognised'. No voicemail or anything, so I ended up blocking it as it feels like a scam to me.

I had some random call from these people and i have no clue what they were blabbering about. Just annoying spam calls to me!

Got a call around 11:47 from someone saying they were with 'ASP' about renewing my insurance. When I asked if they could just send the renewal papers by post, they wouldn’t do it and said it was because of Covid and not having enough people working.
