I got a call about renewing the warranty on my washing machine, but the person couldn’t even tell what brand it was and hung up pretty quick. Honestly, these dodgy calls need to be stopped by law already. Such a waste of time!

Got a call from someone saying my washing machine warranty was nearly up. I told them my machine’s actually 15 years old, so the warranty ended ages ago. They said they’d double-check my coverage and ring me back. Needless to say, I blocked the number - he’s not getting through again!
