I got a call from someone wanting to check if my AEG washing machine was working fine. When I asked why, he said the insurance on it needed renewing. I told him there’s no insurance on the machine, but he insisted the manufacturer's warranty had expired. I replied that it’s a Bosch and around 20 years old, so no shock there. Then he just ended the call. This is the second time I’ve had a scam like this happen to me.

I told them to send something in writing, but they said they’re trying to reduce paperwork. Then, when I asked for an email, they just ended the call.
