I've just received a dodgy call attempting to entice me into a loan. Quite shady, to say the least!

Earlier today, I received a call at precisely 16:26 and decided to ring them back at 16:45 to clarify which firm the individual on the line represented. After a brief pause, as if he were rifling through some information, he stumbled and I mentioned he must be from a loan firm, prompting me to ask him not to bother me again. Not long after, he called me again, which I promptly ignored and swiftly blocked his number. Overall, I've had around half a dozen pestering calls today across my two mobile phones. These bothersome calls have been an ongoing issue since 2011, all linked to Wimbledon Guild of Social Work, Need More Time, and Commsave, who are tied together by the same Board of Directors. There’s also Initial Advice Limited involved, which I have no dealings with. I first engaged with these organisations back in September 2011 before retiring in March 2012, having applied for a Commsave Loan in late 2011. Although I resumed work a few years later according to my pension guidelines, Initial Advice and Need More Time seem to have an insatiable appetite for my lump sum and pension, and have been relentlessly calling me for a decade now, alternating between my landline and various mobile numbers. The calls kicked off again in March 2019 on one mobile, with another debuting on 11/08/20. Quite disturbingly, one social worker involved has been struck off, whilst another has faced sanctions leading to numerous tribunal hearings. The last tribunal for the disbarred social worker took place on the 28th of May, and there’s been an unflattering remark made about the second social worker by Social Work England, seemingly to keep him in check or pending appeal. All in all, I’ve experienced hundreds of these intrusive calls, with instances peaking at 14 within just two days.

Whatever you do, steer clear of sharing your bank information! I was misled into thinking it was a legitimate loan company, only to discover I had handed over cash and my bank details. It’s a total scam, so please protect yourself and don’t divulge any of your personal information!

I received a call today from them about a loan of £2500. However, they insisted that I pay £120 upfront as it's a secured loan and claimed it was for insurance. Ridiculous, right? Total scam artists!

Total con artists! Beware! They'll masquerade as loan advisors but trust me, it’s a ruse.
