We tried to explain that we've never had PPI or any bank charges, but he insisted that this was irrelevant and that the money was rightfully ours. He told us to ring back on the same number. Shortly after, we received the cash vouchers. He instructed us to ring a specific number and provided a reference number, mentioning there was a staggering £3,850 awaiting our claim. However, we could barely make out what the caller was saying. When we pressed for more information, all she did was reiterate the request to call that number. We've got absolutely no plans to dial that number; instead, we checked using 1471 to trace the call.
