There was nothing but silence on the line.

Received a call from this number at 15:07 on the 8th of May, 2012. I didn’t utter a word, then the call abruptly ended with a click. There was no one on the other end.

I received a call from this number earlier this week. The bloke on the other end had a distinct Indian accent and claimed to represent an accident investigation bureau. He was probing for details about any family members who might’ve been involved in an accident over the past three years. I informed him that no one in my family had been in any mishap during that period, and he promptly ended the call. Very strange indeed!

I just got a ring from this number, and the caller had a thick Indian accent. I told him I wasn't involved in any sort of accident, to which he replied asking for the individual who had experienced one. I made it clear that no one associated with this number had been in any mishap. He simply acknowledged and hung up. But lo and behold, within just two minutes, my phone buzzed again with the very same number, repeating his inquiry! Quite the persistent chap!

I received a rather peculiar call from an international number earlier. An Asian woman on the other end inquired whether anyone in my household had been involved in an accident over the past two years, yet she refused to provide any identifying information - only mentioning Lincoln. After a bit of back and forth, she transferred me to her supervisor, a gentleman with an Indian accent. He claimed they had some information regarding compensation and needed further details from me. When I requested their contact number and address, he spelled out A d l e i d e House, London Bridge EC4R 9HA, stating his name was Fred Wilson-quite a typical name, I must say! I thoroughly enjoyed keeping them occupied for a good while!

This number has been pestering me with calls every four hours today. I'm now just leaving my phone to ring as I’m waiting on a call from the hospital. It’s a bit of a nuisance having to keep checking 1471 because, as usual, the hospital numbers tend to be ex-directory. What can one possibly do to tackle this relentless barrage of unwanted calls?

On the 2nd of December 2013, at precisely 10:20 in the morning, I received a rather suspicious phone call. The gentleman on the other end was purporting to be from the Accident Investigation Bureau but refused to share his name. His accent was notably South Asian, likely Indian or Pakistani. He was keen to converse with someone involved in an alleged accident, yet he didn't mention any names. I informed him that we operate a company with over a hundred staff members and urged him to clarify his request. After a bit of back-and-forth, he abruptly ended the call! Quite the experience, that.

I recently received a call from this number, and the voice on the other end appeared to belong to someone of Asian descent. They inquired whether I was on a business line. When I probed further with "Who’s asking?", they promptly disconnected the call. I can't help but wonder if this might just be another scam trying to reel someone in.

I recently received a rather peculiar phone call from a chap with an Indian or Pakistani accent, purporting to represent something called the Accident Investigation Bureau of the UK Government. I found this quite odd, as I've never come across this organisation before. To add to my concerns, he asserted that they possessed information indicating that someone linked to my number had been to hospital after an accident in the past three years. Surely, any legitimate entity with access to hospital records would be able to specify the individual's name instead of remaining vague, particularly if asked. They would also not hesitate to provide a contact address for correspondence. Like the previous commenter, I can't shake the feeling that this is just another dubious ambulance-chasing outfit, or potentially even some sceptical individuals seeking personal information under false pretences.
