Got a call from a bloke who gave me my full name, but I didn’t quite catch which company he was from. He mentioned something about my washing machine contract needing to be renewed right now. I told him I’m with Domestic and General, but he insisted he had all the documents in front of him and said it would be a one-time payment, like what I supposedly did back in 2016. When I told him I had already cancelled the contract, he just hung up on me.

got a call from this number, a recorded voice claiming to be from hmrc. said my account was flagged for tax fraud and illegal stuff, and that letters they sent were supposedly undelivered. they also threatened me with an arrest warrant. total rubbish! i’m employed and pay my taxes properly through paye. don’t fall for it.
