Got a voicemail supposedly from HMRC, saying I’m gonna face legal trouble. It was so obviously a scam. Don’t even bother, just block that number immediately.

I got a call from 02032397231 earlier, saying I had to ring them back urgently because supposedly DWP was taking me to court for not responding. When I tried calling back, the line either went dead or straight to busy. I’m now planning to contact my phone company to see if any charges were made since I’ve heard this could be a scam to make people pay by returning the call.

So this caller began by telling me I supposedly owed CTAX, then suddenly switched to saying HMRC was gonna take me to court! Honestly, do a bit of homework before you try tricking folks. If you’re gonna pretend to be some sort of official, at least get your details straight - CTAX is just my local council, not HMRC! Ridiculous.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from customs and revenue. Felt a bit dodgy, so I looked them up. Turns out it was a scam, lucky I didn't fall for it!
