I just received a call from this number, claiming to be based in London, but it isn’t a proper 0207 or 0208 one! Quite odd!

We've received calls from this number, and apparently, they claim to be affiliated with British funding. They mentioned something about a company called 48hr Finance. I did a bit of digging online and couldn't find any trace of the first one, but it seems the second one is quite legitimate.

Steer clear of this scam! A company called you from a concealed number, claiming you’ve been approved for a loan. They then promise that some firm will contact you regarding life insurance, which you’re supposed to sit through. After that, they supposedly provide a loan, yet the customer support number they gave us was non-existent. It appears these folks are based somewhere in India. Don’t part with any cash!

Hello there! We've really found ourselves in a bit of a pickle with this situation. It seems we've unwittingly walked right into their trap by signing up for life insurance, and now we’re left without a clue. The chap keeps altering his tale each time we speak to him, making it all the more frustrating!

I recently found myself in a bit of a pickle. While I was on holiday, I applied for a loan and was even promised a ring to confirm the approval. Eager to proceed, I sent £300 through a money transfer service. However, now I can't seem to reach them! The number they've given me either goes straight to voicemail or no one answers. I'm torn on whether to involve the authorities at this point. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We've just received a call from this number, and the callers claim to represent something called United Kingdom Finance and also a firm named 48hr Finance. After doing a bit of digging online, it turns out the first does not seem to have any presence, while the second one is indeed a real entity. Quite odd, isn't it?

Beware, this is a con! Don’t part with your cash, as they’ll only escalate their demands. The more you hand over, the more they’ll attempt to extort from you. Stay vigilant!

It seems we’ve encountered the same bothersome ring, which is rather vexing, to say the least! How on earth do these individuals come across our numbers? I was astounded when she began prying for our banking details; it set off every alarm in my head! These scammers truly need to be put in their place. Who on Earth are they? Their deceitful claims of “guaranteed” loans could seriously jeopardise someone’s life. If they dare to ring us up once more, we'll be sure to give them a piece of our mind!

We’ve been dealing with the same tiresome situation regarding these callers. They even had the gall to ask for our database! Thankfully, we were alerted in time. It’s vital that this nonsense comes to a halt. Who exactly are these individuals? They could genuinely ruin someone’s life with their false assurances about ‘guaranteed’ loans. Next time they ring us, we’ll be sure to direct them to a more appropriate destination!

Our daughter recently discovered that a chap had taken out a loan of two grand and intended to repay £145, which he did-but no funds have come through. These individuals are refusing to return the money. We’ve even rung them up to let them know we're contemplating going to the police, as we think it's utterly unacceptable that they can exploit both the young and the elderly in this manner. They operate under a different name, yet the name matches all the other comments listed above.
