Indeed, we received a similar call but I can assure you that the folks on the other end were quite legitimate. They were incredibly helpful in assisting us with eliminating all of those pesky malicious files. The name of the person who guided us through the process was Keith, and he was a real lifesaver in resolving our issues. So, let's not jump to conclusions about this call I'm receiving from the Windows support team; they seem to mean well.

Earlier today, between approximately 15:35 and 15:55, I received a rather dubious call claiming that I needed to visit a site called completesolutionstore. The conversation soon shifted to them urging me to install TeamViewer, asking for £25 to supposedly renew some security software-something they claimed had expired. It’s rather concerning, as I'm starting to suspect these individuals may have accessed my computer remotely and done something untoward. The moment I pressed them for details about how they obtained my information and who my internet service provider is, they abruptly hung up. Fortunately, I didn't purchase anything, but I'm left wondering if I should be taking precautions against identity theft or compromised passwords. Regrettably, the number they called from was withheld.

Beware of this number! Regrettably, we fell into their trap. When we asked the person on the line whether there would be any charges, she assured us it was just a one-time fee of £24.99 to remove some dodgy files from our computer. We went ahead, but the moment it was time to pay, they shrank the screen. We raised our concerns, but unfortunately, they swiped £200.19 from us. As pensioners, that's a considerable blow to our finances. Heed our warning: steer clear of these scammers!

Earlier on, I received a call from this number claiming that our computer was infested with viruses and that we needed to urgently access a website to resolve the issue. They warned that if we didn't act swiftly, our system would crash, leading to “serious troubles.” They even went as far as to say they were representing Windows, which raises a flag for me. Quite dodgy, don’t you think?

I've received the exact same response. Simply inquire about your IP address, as they'll have it recorded when your device was communicating with them. We reached out for clarification, but they just hung up on us. It's safe to say we're quite frustrated, haha!

On my mother’s 87th birthday, these individuals had the audacity to pester her, claiming that she needed to complete some Windows update. I’ve repeatedly told her to always consult us before agreeing to anything linked to tech or the internet. These scammers cleverly provide their numbers, banking on the vulnerability of people to call back. It’s as clear as day that they’re nothing but frauds, and we can’t shake the feeling that 'RYAN', who reached out to this site, is somehow connected to this nefarious bunch.

Oh, Ryan, it appears you might be spreading some misleading information. As a computer engineer, I've had quite a few clients who nearly fell victim to these con artists. They frequently switch up their names and addresses to pull off their tricks. By the way, just to clarify, Microsoft does not make phone calls to their users-it’s simply not in their policies.

Collin, it's quite clear that you don't grasp what our problem is with the computer. Fortunately, those folks managed to sort it out for us, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Sure, we shelled out some cash, but we’re more than content to invest in something that actually works. So, with all due respect, spare us the unnecessary comments.

Received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from Windows. She asked if we’d observed our computer performing sluggishly. When I gave her the number, she declared that we had some sort of junk malware infecting our system and promised to restore it to its original glory. She then directed us to a computer repair shop. Curious about why there was no mention of Windows on their website, I decided to tell her where to go and hung up.

I had a similar experience this afternoon, too. A chap with a pronounced Asian accent claimed to be Ben Smith, discussing issues with Windows and a supposed computer virus. We had just logged onto this site to file a report when, lo and behold, another call from the same type of company came in a mere ten seconds later. We've already signed up to prevent these pesky calls, and I'm absolutely fed up with it all!

I received a call from someone who had the same accent and tone as Laura. They claimed our computer was in serious jeopardy and offered to guide us on how to rectify the situation by accessing our C drive. They even gave us a phone number and an address-5 Torrens Street, Islington, London! Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
