Got a bloke from India ringing me for the third time in three weeks saying I was in a car crash a year or two ago and there was some damage at the rear. I’ve told em loads of times to remove my number from their list but they keep on calling. I even told them my number’s ex-directory, they claimed they knew that already. I’ve never had a car or been in any accident. When I try calling them back, their number just doesn’t work.

I received a call with no one on the other end-just the standard dodgy scam attempt, likely one of those Asian ringers trying to coax out personal info under the guise of a car accident claim. It's my suspicion that they'll ring again soon, using the details they’ve gathered to frighten you into transferring funds, while masquerading as a representative from your bank. Seems to be the same old routine. Stay vigilant!

Got a silent ring just now. Feels like one of those common Asian car crash scam calls, trying to get your name and bank details. Honestly, I reckon they’ll ring back later and use what they found out to frighten you into shifting money, pretending they’re your bank.

I just got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who said his name was Adam. He claimed to be ringing about an accident I had last summer and asked if I was the right person. When I said no, he wanted to speak to the correct person. I asked where he got my number from, and he said it was passed on to the accident team. I told him that was rubbish and it was clearly a cold call, which he denied! I asked for his company’s name and told him I’d be reporting this cause my number’s been used without my permission. Then I hung up. Naturally, I’ve blocked the number now.

07/03/17 12:54 Got a call from someone called 'Alwyn', sounded Asian, claiming to be from the 'British Legal Adjusters Dept' about a 'recent accident' of mine. Asked if I recalled any accident recently (I didn’t). When I questioned what this group was, he claimed it wasn’t a company but connected to the Ministry of Justice. I asked who the current minister was, and then he had the nerve to say I had poor General Knowledge! Honestly, how rude can someone be?

Some woman, supposedly called Kirsty (seriously, right?), rang me up saying I’d been in some accident in the past 3 years. She claimed the Road Safety Authority had handed over my number because of it (sure, like that would happen). I kept pressing her for more info about this so-called authority, and then a bloke came on, said he was her supervisor but didn’t know much either, then just ended the call. I received a call from someone wanting to chat with the individual who was part of a car crash, and I playfully claimed it was me. I informed them that I had perished in the incident, to which they replied it was merely a minor fender bender! I mean, seriously, how can someone question a deceased individual about the severity of the mishap? 😄 Honestly, trying to pull a fast one in Australia isn’t the brightest idea, but frankly, it’s a poor choice anywhere else as well.

Got a call from this number earlier today. I picked up only coz the caller ID said ‘International’. A guy with what sounded like an Indian accent started talking about my car accident and some ‘Motor Insurance Claims’ thing. Seemed like one of those pushy legal types trying to rope me in! Got a call from 02032390038 - an Indian woman telling the same old accident tale. I let her ramble on, then covered the mouthpiece and just listened. Could hear a bloke talking in the background. Stayed on the line until it just dropped.

I just had a ring from this number. A woman with an Indian accent was on the line. She launched into the typical spiel regarding an accident that I supposedly had in the last couple of years. I told her flat out that I wasn't interested, yet instead of hanging up, I covered the mouthpiece and just listened in. There was a fair bit of chatter in the background, and after about five minutes, the call just dropped. Honestly, I reckon we should all start spinning tales about imaginary accidents with some made-up details and see how far it goes. It’d certainly waste their time, and at their expense too!

Got two calls already today from these scammers. Both said they were from some Accident Department and claimed my name was on a list because I’d supposedly had an accident. I knew straight away it was a con, so I started asking how they got my info. They wanted me to give the date of the accident, but I told them if they had a report they’d already know. Then they admitted they didn’t even have a report! Honestly, why do these people bother with this rubbish??

I received a phone call from a woman with an Indian accent who was inquiring about an accident that supposedly occurred two years back. When I probed her about where she got her information, she was rather elusive and couldn’t provide any specifics. I informed her that her efforts were futile and not to mention a waste of resources, as I’ve never been involved in any accident. Clearly, the information she possessed was completely misleading. After that, I hung up.

A woman claiming to be from the National Accident Department called me. Her accent was really difficult to make out. She mentioned something about an accident in the past two years being on some National Database. I asked her to explain what she meant by that, and she said it was related to a car accident. When I requested the name she was using for me, the car’s make and registration number, she just replied with "very good" to each question. I told her I wouldn’t give any info until she proved she’d got the right person. Eventually, she just ended the call.

A bloke with an Asian accent called himself Alwyn, but his English was really hard to follow. He claimed to be from something like the British Legal Justice Department and said he needed to sort out my car accident file because I hadn’t received the paperwork. He kept pushing and managed to get me to give him the registration details of the vehicles involved. Since I had recently had an accident, I was a bit thrown by it all. Turns out, it’s a con. Watch out! I told my insurance provider what happened. He also said I was owed a few thousand pounds compensation.

I received a call from a chap with an Asian accent who was inquiring about a car accident. I found myself peppering him with loads of questions, trying to pinpoint where he had sourced his information, like which website, email, or phone number he was using. Unfortunately, he mumbled quite a bit, and I struggled to grasp what he was saying, leading to him having to repeat himself numerous times. At one point, he seemed rather irate and insisted that I should let him have his say. Before long, he decided to hang up on me.

Just like a lot of others, I've had this number ring me loads of times at both my house and work. They keep talking about some accident from the past couple of years, but I'm pretty sure it's some sort of scam trying to trick me into giving away personal info. I haven't stayed on the phone long enough to figure out exactly what they want, but it's really annoying and needs to be halted.

Got a call around midday, but i have call barring on so it didnt actually ring, it just showed up as international. How does that make sense when the number is from London? Ive been getting loads of calls labelled as international but most turn out to be London numbers. Whats going on with that?

Received a call from a Chinese woman named "Rachel." I kindly requested her to wait a moment. By the time I wrapped up my breakfast, she'd already cut the conversation short.

Some scammer claimed I’d been in a car accident within the past couple of years. Kept grilling the bloke with loads of questions till he got irritated and just ended the call. Gonna make sure this number gets reported to the proper folks.

A guy with an Asian accent called saying he got my number from the Road Safety Authority and that someone in my house had a car crash in the past 3 years. Well, that’s not true at all. Told him to take my number off their list.

Sounded like an Asian guy, but honestly couldn't catch what he was saying. Mentioned some sort of investigation thing. Caught me when I was busy, I told him off and ended the call. Fool had the nerve to ring again, I just ignored it. I'm ex directory and never share my home phone number with anyone.

This number called my home phone, which hardly ever gets used and the only company with that number is BT, who provide my line. I've signed up to the TPS so it's obvious they're just calling at random.

Called claiming to be some accident helpline, but I’m not convinced, sounds like just another annoying spam call.

They said they were from "Accident Legal Advice UK Limited" but I couldn’t find any trace of them on the companies house website. Proper irritating stuff, honestly.

Keeps ringing my landline but never says anything or leaves a voicemail. I’d say they call every couple of days. For now, all unknown numbers get sent straight to the answerphone till I figure out who they are.

02032390038 rang me after I had a small fender bender in a pay and display car park, luckily no one was hurt. The only place they coulda got my number was from an insurance company, nobody else would have it. The caller sounded foreign and was hard to understand, seemed like a total scam to me.

I recently got a call from this number, and a bloke on the other end began to say something before he trailed off. I could make out some tunes and voices in the background, but then suddenly, the line went silent. I think I'll be adding this number to my block list.

I asked them to take my number off their list. It was some accident related call, and when I tried to talk to someone who spoke properly, they just cut me off.

30/1/2017 Got a call from this number today. The lady on the other end had an Asian accent and was asking about a car crash I supposedly had. I told her I've never been in one. Then she asked if maybe it was a family member instead. I said, "I don't know what you're on about," and she just hung up. I swear I could hear kids playing in the background.

A guy with an accent I couldn't place rang me up, saying they found my number linked to a car crash I supposedly had in the last couple of years. I told him I hadn't been in any accident and tried to get him to remove my details from their records, but he just cut me off. Pretty clear it was a scam call.

Earlier today I got a call from a hidden number, and a voice with an Asian accent said I’d been in an accident. I said, “No,” and he snapped back rudely, “Someone at this address and phone number has.” I told him again, “No,” but he just hung up before I could ask him to take me off their calling list. Then, a couple of hours later, the same number called again, and the chat was nearly the same. I’ve managed to block the number now as they changed it the second time.

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent asking if I’d been in an accident in the past couple of years. I said no but she didn’t seem to get it at all. Hard to understand what she was saying. I’m on the TPS list but I still get calls like this all the time. Really wish the Government would take stronger action to put an end to these annoying calls.

Last night my lad picked up the phone and some one asked about car crashes. Then today I got a call from a woman, the line was awful and you could hear a load of noise like a call centre behind her. She was saying she was ringing about a car accident that either me or someone at home had been involved in. I told her no and just ended the call.

I received yet another call from this number this morning. A chap named "Sean" with a thick Indian accent was on the line, rambling on about some accident-related business. I clearly stated, "I'm not interested, thank you," yet he persisted in droning on. Eventually, I just hung up. As someone who's retired and dealing with ongoing health issues, I find this sort of bothersome intrusion utterly unwanted. I’m on the TPS list, but honestly, how effective is that really?

Received a call today around midday. When I directed them to take a hike, they unleashed a tirade of obscenities at me! I've flagged the number, but I’m already signed up with TSP. Honestly, it's about time the authorities put a stop to this nonsense. That was the third time my phone rang today! The first two had the typical Indian accents and, for some bizarre reason, weren't displaying a number. It’s quite disruptive, to say the least. I’m determined to keep giving them a piece of my mind!

They called me again today, which is starting to feel like it happens every day now. The first time they got in touch, they said I’d been involved in a car crash. I told them straight away that wasn’t true and asked them to stop calling me and take my number off their list. Now, whenever they ring, they just hang up as soon as I pick up.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming he was from some Accident Helpline. I told him sorry to hear he’d been in an accident. Then he said he was a legal advisor, so I told him I’ve actually been a legal advisor myself for 35 years. He just ended the call after that.

Got a call about a "recent accident" of mine, which is odd since it’s been ages - like over a decade - since anything like that happened. When I asked for the date and how they knew, all they said was "we were told". Honestly, what a load of rubbish. Just idiots wasting my time.
