7 yearsI've lodged a complaint with Action Fraud regarding this caller. They informed me that I have a PPI compensation cheque supposedly waiting for me, amounting to £4,681. To get hold of this money, they insist I need to purchase a £200 Amazon or Morrisons voucher to cover their so-called admin fees. A Mrs June Rogers is meant to deliver this cheque to my home personally! They possess a concerning amount of my personal information, including the details of a company I lodged a claim with two years ago, from which I received nothing. They even have my address, date of birth, email, and more. Their website, https://www.globalreclaim.co.uk, appears quite legitimate and can easily mislead anyone. Legitimate businesses would never request payment via vouchers redeemable only at their respective retailers. After receiving a second call just now, I confronted the chap, stating I'm aware it's a scam, and he promptly hung up. Please, do not divulge your identification details to this caller. If they reach out and seem to possess your information, report it to Action Fraud. It might seem like a bother, but it’s crucial that we put an end to these fraudsters.
