I’ve just experienced a rather amusing phone call from a woman, claiming to be associated with Microsoft. She insisted that she was reaching out regarding a fault report that had apparently been filed automatically by our computer. We found it hysterical and cheekily asked when it would be convenient for her to be recorded for training and quality assurance. She then claimed our computer was riddled with viruses and exclaimed, "I’m trying to assist you with your computer, can’t you see that?" before abruptly hanging up. What a bunch of chancers!

I just received a call from these folks, and it seems like they might have been experiencing a bit of a holdup on their side (some sort of automated waiting system). We quickly realised it was just a telemarketer. Cheers for the info on this number! I shall wait with bated breath for their return call, haha!

I just received a call from the number 02032327676, claiming to be inquiring about our computer, particularly regarding the Windows operating system. Unfortunately for them, we’re not exactly novices when it comes to these tactics, so I simply said, "Nice try, I'm well aware of this ruse," before hanging up. We couldn’t decipher the name of the company due to a poor connection, but it was clearly not Dell UK, the place where we bought our PC two years ago. It’s evident this is one of those scamming operations aiming to trick unsuspecting folks into granting remote access to their devices. Just a heads-up for everyone out there!

A chap from India gave us a bell, but honestly, his accent was a bit all over the place. The moment he mentioned Windows and computers, it clicked for us that we were dealing with a phishing scam. It was particularly infuriating since we were mid-ladder, slapping some paint on the walls when that blasted phone rang! So frustrating!

I received a call from these folks but unfortunately didn’t manage to speak with them. Cheers for all the information - it’s certainly useful! I’m eagerly anticipating a return call since I’m completely in the dark here! :o))

I've just received yet another call from this number, claiming to be associated with something related to Windows and computers. The caller was after a former resident, and when I told her he no longer lived here, she insisted on learning about us instead! I definitely wasn’t going to divulge any details - in fact, we told her we didn't even have a computer. Then she had the gall to suggest we ought to consider buying a laptop! Her annoyance was palpable when we refused to share anything, but eventually, she gave up. Total numpty!

We've recently had a chap ring us up, claiming to be from Windows (or something along those lines) and insisting that they’d received a notification about our computer being compromised. Apparently, it’s on the verge of crashing in a mere two days! The individual was rather insistent and even started to debate with us about it. It's laughable, really-like we just fell off the turnip truck yesterday! The number he called from was 02032327676.

It seems that Microsoft, while communicating in somewhat fractured English, has suggested that they ought to engage more competent speakers who are clearly comprehensible.

It’s evident that this person is focusing solely on PCs and not at all on Apple Macs. If you happen to own a PC, it’s best to ignore any prompts she might give you to hit specific keys! When we told her we were using a Mac, she abruptly ended the call after suggesting we press the fn and Windows keys. She claimed to be aware of our download issues, which have been quite bothersome, and insisted she was representing 'Microsoft Windows'. So, just be cautious if you're using a PC!

Received a call at precisely 10:43 AM on 12th July 2011, UK time. All I got was the tail end of a recorded message. Quite peculiar, really!

Received yet *another* call at precisely 13:34 UK time on the sixteenth of July, 2011. The tail end of an automated message was all that was heard (following closely behind a previous ring from a chap wanting to chat regarding our computer, which we promptly ended).

I've received two calls from this number now, yet not a soul ever replies. It feels as though it's some sort of fax machine rather than a proper phone call. I can’t help but wonder if it’s from the same company that previously contacted us using an Irish number about a scam related to the Irish Lotto. It all seems a bit too coincidental, especially since that other number had just ceased bothering us, and now this one shows up!

I received a call with no one on the other end that disconnected after about ten seconds. It's getting rather annoying, especially as they're also ringing my mobile number.

These pesky calls keep coming through on my landline. Every time I pick up, there's nothing but silence for about ten seconds, then a robotic voice chirps, "goodbye." It’s clear as day they’re up to no good - I realised that when I did a bit of digging on the number last week. It’s rather frustrating that they keep cutting off! I was genuinely hoping for a proper chat, haha!

I recently received a call from a woman with an Indian accent who insisted she was affiliated with Microsoft. She claimed she was calling regarding an alleged fault report generated by my computer. I couldn't help but find it hilarious, so I asked her if she would mind if I recorded the conversation for training and monitoring purposes. She then started saying that my PC was riddled with viruses and exclaimed, "I'm here to help you, can't you see?" before abruptly ending the call. What a load of nonsense! Pure scammers, no doubt!
