The call was silent for about 45 seconds, then some bloke with a recorded voice claimed it was HMRC and said there was some tax fraud involving my info. He told me to press 1 to talk about it. I just hung up right away and didn’t press anything. No way that was HMRC, they wouldn’t notify you like that at all!

Got a call from some random number, no clue who it was and honestly, not bothered to find out either.

So a guy rang me claiming he was calling about our washing machine insurance. I told him with the lockdown and all the chaos, it's not really a good time for calls like this. Without another word, he just cut me off! Bit disappointing, I was hoping that with everything going on, folk would be a bit kinder.

somebody rang me and i honestly have no clue who they wanted. i guess they were looking for someone that might have had my number like 6 years back, cos i've had quite a few calls for that person. when i explained i didn’t know them or where they were and asked them to stop phoning me, the caller got really rude and then just hung up. i’m kinda shaken up by the whole thing and would really like to find out the business they claimed to be calling from so i can make a complaint.
