I've had a rather odd experience with this number as well. It turns out it belongs to a call centre in London. When I picked up, initially there was silence-just dead air for about twenty seconds. Then, out of the blue, an Asian woman started speaking, using my first name right away, which took me by surprise. I couldn’t decipher a single word she was saying; it was all a bit of a jumble, but I distinctly heard her ask, 'How are you today, Geoffrey?' At that point, I decided to hang up. It’s baffling really, as I’ve been on the telephone preference service for ages, yet I still receive a plethora of these nuisance calls. What’s the point, honestly? 😕
