I received a rather dubious automated call from BT, though the voice had a distinctly American twang. It claimed that my broadband had faced breaches across multiple lands and that it would be disconnected today unless I lingered on the line and pushed 1. Given the frequency of these calls this week and the fact that my internet is chugging along just fine, I strongly suspect it’s a scam!
