Weird thing happened - my phone first gave me a British ring, then suddenly it changed to an American one. Seriously, what? Then this lady came on and said she’d connect me to some chief officer. The guy who came on after had a really thick Indian accent and said he was from HM Revenue & Customs. He started talking about some fraud and that there was a warrant for my arrest or something. I didn’t hang about, just ended the call straight away, knew it was a scam no doubt.

Theres no way a UK government number would use an automated lady with an Indian accent. This is defo a scam or one of those annoying cold calls pretending to be HMRC!
