This number has rung me a few times, always someone with an Indian accent like from a call centre. They act like they got some info on you, like your name and address, but it’s wrong, I moved out of that place ages ago, at least ten years. Today, they said it was for a survey, but when I pressed them for the company name, they said “Beneficial.” Other times they've claimed it’s about boilers or a shopping survey. I’ve just gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from British Gas about checking my boiler. She kept trying to get me to just say yes or no to her questions. When I replied with "That's right" or "That's wrong" instead, she seemed to get a bit irritated. I told her I thought it was a dodgy call and then she just ended the call.
