I got a call from some bloke claiming he was with a phone company and trying to sell me a discount on call charges. When I asked which company he was from, he fumbled and couldn't really say. Pretty clear to me it was just another scam.

Avoid this one, it’s a scam about some dodgy phone deal. I hung up as soon as I realised.

Some bloke rang saying he was from Openreach offering discounts on phone calls. I wasn’t convinced so I just ended the call. These cold call ppl are a right pain nowadays, can’t trust a word they say.

Got a call around half eleven this morning from a man with a Pakistani accent saying he needed to discuss my phone line. I didn’t hang about and ended the call pretty quick. Then, I searched the number on this site and it turned out to be a scam. Just a heads up, if someone rings claiming to be about your phone or bank details, always double-check on who-calling.co.uk. Loads of times it's just a scam. And if you think it’s your bank, just call them direct yourself, as most banks don’t actually call first. Stay safe out there!

Picked up my phone and simply said “hello.” I waited for the person on the other end to say something, but there was only silence. Sounded like a scam to me, then the caller just hung up. Nowadays, every phone call I get from a London number seems like a scam.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be with BT, offering to cut down my phone package. I just ended the call. Then the phone rang once more, again saying it was BT. A bloke called James Walker said he was the manager. He seemed to know everything about me and said he’d post a confirmation letter. The price would go down to £60.00. I'm still a bit iffy about it though.

Not sure who it was so I just blocked the number. My phone muted the ring anyway, so I didn’t pick up.
