Got a call from Sweden on my Viber, and I’m pretty sure they must have broken into that account somehow. I didn’t pick up, but it definitely felt like a scam. Be careful and just block the number!

I got a call from a lady speaking English with a bit of a foreign accent, saying she was conducting a survey for the Financial Times.

This guy with a really dodgy English accent kept asking to speak to my husband, but I don’t have one. I just ended the call. Weird thing is, he actually knew my name. Sounds like a scam to me. They’ve tried ringing a few times now. Also, the background was super noisy, like he was somewhere crowded. Be careful!

My phone shows if the person on the other end has to cover the call charges, and since this one was from overseas and they had to pay, I just hung up straight away.

Both me and my mum got calls from the same number, but neither of us answered. I think it was coming from Sweden or somewhere around there.

I chose not to pick up cause I ain't got any ties to England. Seeing what people wrote here, probably for the best I ignored it. I’m in Sweden myself.

Got a call a minute ago from this number, and I'm based in Sweden. I didn’t pick up since I don't recognise any London numbers. After seeing what others have said about it, glad I kept my phone silent!

There’s this number popping up on my phone here in Sweden, and honestly, I don't get it. I've never even stepped foot in Connecticut, and to my knowledge, nothing's happening there that would be worth someone phoning me about. Strange!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent asking for some bloke. I told him he’d got the wrong number and this was a personal Danish line. Then he said he could chat with me instead, but I wasn’t having it and ended the call. Same number rang me again today, so I told them to quit ringing me.

Got a call from a bloke with a dodgy English accent claiming to be from HSBC doing a survey. He definitely knew my name and email and said it was about banking and investments. Something about it seemed fishy, like it could be a scam, so be careful! Later, I got another call from 08455285555 but didn’t answer it.

I got a ring from this London number and they started off by saying it’s a quick survey asking about my money situation for some big firm. Didn’t take long before I shut it down because all they wanted was my personal financial info, stuff I wouldn’t just hand out. I’d suggest you hang up straight away if this number comes up - it’s definitely dodgy and not to be trusted!

Some bloke phoned claiming he was from the Financial Times. Because I've got some contacts over in England, I answered his initial questions about my age and income bracket. Then he said he'd transfer me to someone else for another part of the interview. I didn't bother waiting and just ended the call. There's no way that was really the Financial Times.
