A couple of days ago, on the 13th of September, 2010, we received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone. It was an Asian lady who struggled quite a bit with her English, and she was fishing for our personal information. Let’s just say the conversation didn’t end well, and we told her to politely, but firmly, go away!

I just received a rather peculiar call from someone with an accent that was difficult to understand. They claimed to be from the O2 shop or something along those lines, and were asking if we’d received a free handset from them lately. Right from the get-go, it felt a bit off, and then they went on to ask for our postcode-information they ought to already have on hand, especially since I’m due for an upgrade. It absolutely reeked of a scam, so I’d suggest giving them a wide berth!

Yesterday, on the 13th of September, 2010, I received a call from someone claiming to represent Vodafone. It was an Asian lady who struggled quite a bit with English and was asking for some personal information. I also received a K AF notification by post, which has me a bit concerned.

We've encountered the very same predicament. This outfit claimed to represent the O2 Business Team from the phone shop. They fired an endless barrage of questions, many of which O2 ought to have on record already. Regrettably, we ended up divulging more than we should have before it raised our suspicions. When we tried returning the call, we were met with a recorded message saying the voicemail was full. We contacted O2 customer service, but they had no inkling about this and assured us they'd investigate. It certainly feels like a scam of some sort.

I just received a rather peculiar call from someone whose accent was quite hard to grasp. They claimed to be representing an O2 shop or something similar and mentioned that we hadn't recently had a free phone from them. The whole situation felt fishy from the off, especially when they started asking for our postcode, supposedly to check if we were eligible for an upgrade. It clearly reeked of a scam, so we’ve definitely decided to give it a miss!

I received a call not long ago, specifically on the 13th of September, 2010, from someone claiming to be associated with Vodafone. It was an Asian woman who struggled to communicate in English and was insistent on obtaining personal information. We ended up having quite a robust exchange, and let's just say, we told her where to shove it!

We received a call from this number but didn’t return it, as we’re not familiar with who they are.

Received a call from this number earlier. It was a woman with an East Asian accent, claiming to be representing O2. She was asking when I had last received a phone from them, as we do have a contract with the company. However, we only have a phone line, not anything else. She seemed to get quite irritable when I mentioned this and abruptly hung up.
