Claimed they are calling from a Housing Association, preventing tenants from dumping and addressing other faults in the property. When challenged on where they had my number, the answer was, "from a file as it's written here," but they couldn't explain further. They tried to give me a lesson, saying that I should not interrupt him when he's speaking because I'm not his friend. When I challenged him further with a question about where he had my number from, he eventually hung up on me.

This looks like a total scam. They popped up with the number +442031908738 claiming to be from our government, saying I’m owed some kind of money back, like a refund or something. Feels so dodgy and half-cooked if you ask me...

I got a call from someone claiming they fix up council or housing association properties that got messed up during covid. I wasn’t having any of it and told them to jog on, not exactly nicely either.
