I got a call from a bloke who was speaking some foreign language, said he was from Amazon and that I'd supposedly bought a £100 gift card. He told me to put the phone on speaker, shut down all my apps, and then log into my Amazon account if I wanted to cancel it. I just hung up as soon as he said that.

Some bloke rang up sayin he was from a Southeast cleaning firm wanting to give me a quote for gutter cleaning. I told him all the homes round here are managed by the council, which made him get all defensive. So I told him to shove off... Now he’s called me back half a dozen times in two days, calling me names and chuckling. If they’re legit, they’re really dodgy. Looks like a proper scam to me.

Not sure who rang me, there was no talking at all, and it was right around 5 in the evening. Maybe they had just about finished work for the day!

They said they were from "Kent Guttering" and reckoned I’d handed over my phone number when they knocked on my door a while ago. Problem is, I don’t ever give my number to random callers, so I’m pretty sure they must’ve gotten it from somewhere dodgy.

Somebody rang saying they were from the council and doing gutter cleaning nearby. Our number’s on the TPS list, plus I’m pretty sure they’re not even local to here. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be with 'Kent Gutter Clearing Company' - sounded like he had an Asian accent. I told him straight up I’m on the TPS list and don’t want any random calls like this. Then he just cut off the call.

I got a call from a number based in London, and they said they were from a local firm. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, like it might be some sort of scam. Just thought I’d give a heads up!

I got an unexpected call from this number, claiming they were in my street and offering to clean my gutters. Quite peculiar since they knew my road, but the call apparently originated from London. When I tried to ring back, the number was out of service.
