Some woman called, said she was switching my broadband from private to public. When I asked for details, she went over it twice, like I wasn’t getting it. She even gave me what she claimed was the real BT number, then snapped at me to just hang up and call them instead. I did, but made sure it was legit first. After a long chat with a supervisor, turns out it was a proper scam.
