I've been inundated with calls from this number on both my landline and mobile, and I had been avoiding them for ages. However, I gave in last night and picked up. As I stayed quiet, it was just silence on the other end until I finally said hello. Suddenly, I was greeted by a ringing sound, and an Asian-sounding individual came on the line. I didn't want to stick around to find out what they were after; I simply told them to remove my number from their records. To my dismay, I've already received another call this morning! It appears there's no escaping these nuisances!

Got a call from a guy claiming to be from Microsoft's tech support, seemed dodgy so I looked up the number. Called the cops on it.

I’ve had a pair of silent calls from this number, and then a third came through. An individual with an Asian accent claimed to be from Microsoft and insisted that my computer was experiencing issues. I informed him that I was well aware it was a scam and advised him to take a long walk off a short pier. The background noise was absolutely chaotic!

What a complete con! They spun a yarn about the International Outages Directory supposedly alerting them to some supposed problems with my computer. Utter nonsense! Best to either ignore them or, if you do pick up, just put the phone down straight away.

Claiming to represent Microsoft, these individuals seemed rather uninterested when we mentioned that we didn’t own a computer. As soon as we said that, they abruptly hung up! Just a heads-up: Microsoft isn’t going to give you a ring out of the blue, so don’t engage with these calls.
