4 monthsGot a call from someone I didn’t recognise. Not gonna lie, it made me a bit wary.11 monthsNormally I wouldn’t answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise, but I was a bit distracted and picked up. The man on the line had a strong Indian accent and spoke really quickly. He actually used my name and even knew my address, which was quite unsettling. I told him I wasn’t interested in whatever he was pushing, but he kept trying to keep me on the phone. Eventually, I just ended the call. I’ve blocked that number now, but these days I’m getting loads of calls from all sorts of different numbers, so blocking one doesn’t seem to help much.11 monthsWhenever I get a call from a number I don’t recognise, especially if it pops up with a scary red warning, I just turn my phone off straight away without answering or hearing what they want. After that, I always delete the number and come here to have a look. Honestly, this site is really great!11 monthsNumber looked unfamiliar so I just ignored the call. Ended up blocking it anyway.11 monthsI got a call from 020 3161 0589 but didn’t pick up. They left a voicemail that was silent for about 22 seconds before a brief “message” then hung up. The whole thing lasted around 24 seconds. The voice sounded North American to me. I’ve had a few calls like this claiming to be from different parts of the UK, like some bloke named Kyle in Scotland. Pretty clear this is another scam, probably coming from somewhere out east.UKKyleScotland11 monthsGot a call supposedly from London, the line was dead silent for about 16 seconds then some robotic voice just said “message”. Went straight on the block list.London11 monthsI've blocked this caller but it keeps ringing through and leaves voicemails whenever I reject the call. Even when I hang up quickly, the phone keeps ringing! I get about 5 or 6 calls daily from this same number. It's getting really annoying, especially since it shows up as suspected spam too. Proper dodgy, if you ask me.11 monthsThis was definitely a con.11 monthsNumber looked unfamiliar, so I just ignored the call. Figured it was probably another scammer. Ended up blocking it straight away.12 monthsGot a call from someone with an Asian accent who knew my name right off. When I asked what they wanted, they said they needed to ask some questions about my home. I told them I wasn’t bothered and just ended the call. Seems like it could be a scam.12 monthsI got a call from 02031610589 but when I tried to answer, it went straight to voicemail. The caller just hung up after that.Submit Your Own Report (020 3161 0589)
