Got a call early morning around 8:30, but the person just hung up, no idea who it was. Then at about 10:45, the phone rang again and it sounded like an Indian voice, but they ended the call straight away. Told them I’d reported it.

I keep getting calls from this one number, and the person speaking definitely sounded like they were calling from some call centre in India. They kept asking me about an insurance claim and some accident I supposedly had, which is just a total lie because I haven’t been in any accident at all. Proper nonsense.

Got a phone call from this number, and some guy with an accent I couldn't place claimed there were dodgy emails coming from my computer. I told him to stop with the nonsense and asked for some proper proof. Next thing, he just ended the call. These calls are honestly such a pain in the neck!

This number just called me, a bloke with a thick foreign accent said his name was Peter, which sounded totally fake. Got a call from this number saying they needed to talk about my phone number or something like that. I told them I wasn’t planning on switching providers, then the lady asked for my name. Even though I’m not married to my partner, she kept insisting on getting my name, which I didn’t want to share. She kept saying we’d keep getting calls unless I gave my name so they could take us off their list. I told her that wasn’t necessary and told her to just remove our number straight away. Then she just ended the call. Pretty clear this was a scam, probably from outside the UK - the delay before she answered and the accent made me think it was from India or somewhere similar.

They always say their name's Steve, John, or Mary and insist they’re from TalkTalk saying there’s something wrong with my computer. I tell them to stop calling me but they just keep ringing back! Now, I have to keep my phone on answer to catch them, but it’s such a hassle!!

I picked up the phone and the person on the other end just ended the call straight away. When I did a 1471 check, it showed the number belonged to some dodgy character who tried calling me a few weeks back. They said they were from Talk Talk and wanted to get into my computer. I told them I was gonna report it, and I actually followed through and contacted the fraud department.

I keep getting calls from people with Asian accents, sometimes up to a dozen times in a single day! They always say their name's Steve, John, or Mary and claim they're from TalkTalk, saying there's something wrong with my computer. some woman has been ringing my house all day saying she's from computer support or something. twice today i've had calls from her, but she used different names each time though the voice and accent sounded exactly the same. i told her both times to stop calling but the second time she just cut me off! so annoying!

Some bloke pretending to be from Microsoft called my mum - an Asian guy calling himself Dan. She was naive enough to let them access her laptop remotely, which worries me a lot. I grabbed the phone off her and told the guy off. Then he started getting all rude, telling me to "shut up". I just ended the call, but they rang back a couple of times shouting abuse. The number seemed like it was from London, but on closer look, it’s missing a digit, so definitely not a proper UK number. These scammers are the lowest of the low.

Just got a call from this number a few mins ago. It seemed a bit suspicious so I almost didn’t pick up. When I did, the person said "Hello" a couple of times but there was no reply, so I just ended the call. After that I googled the number and saw people saying similar things here. Got a call from someone claiming to be with the national accident support service. I told them straight away, “If you’re ringing about an accident I supposedly had in the last five years, that’s not true and please don’t bother me again.” The caller had a thick Indian or Asian accent and their English wasn’t great. I've had loads of these calls lately, so I just get blunt with them now. They’re really annoying and honestly, they should be stopped.

This number has been ringing me loads lately. They somehow know my full name and where I live. The caller, who spoke with an Asian accent, claimed there was a £3000 cheque waiting for me because my bank supposedly charged me illegally. I told him there were no such fees on my bank statement, but he insisted it wouldn't ever show up there. I told them I hadn’t, and then they started going on about maybe it was someone in my family instead. The caller began by asking if they were speaking to me, then proceeded to give my full address, postcode, and phone number, asking if it was all correct. I replied, "You’ve got all that info already, so why don’t you tell me?" They said where they were calling from and started chatting about BT offers. I replied, "So, you're not actually with BT, but you’re offering me their deals? How curious!" I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. Not long after, the same number rang again and this time a man claimed he was a supervisor from the same firm, trying to pitch the exact same "deals." I told him straight up, "I don’t care if you’re a supervisor, I said no the first time when I spoke to your colleague!"
