BEWARE OF THIS ROYAL MAIL CON! I was asked to fork out £2.99 for a so-called parcel delivery. Just imagine the profit they could rake in with a few thousand of these scams! I took a little detour online and, wouldn’t you know it, they hand out a parcel number immediately-without any verification of my identity. So, I thought it would be fun to enter details as a made-up character and used a ridiculous email address. Surprisingly, they requested my date of birth too! I hit submit, and lo and behold, I was led straight into a trap to enter my card information! They were also after my birth date again. It’s a blatant SCAM! If I had gone through with it, they would have had my full name, address, birth date, and credit card info. The website even had the appearance of being from Royal Mail. I checked with the real Royal Mail, and guess what? They had no record of the parcel number they provided!
