Just wanted to fix my earlier post, I mixed up the first digits. The number actually begins with 20, not 23. I got a call supposedly from HMRC saying they’ve got legal action pending against me for owing tax money. They told me to call their number right away which is 20 3151 6240 - make sure you get that right, it’s 20 3151 6240. They said if I don’t ring them back on that hotline immediately, they’d go ahead with arrest proceedings. Quite alarming!
