2 yearsOver the past few days, I've had three calls - two went to my home phone and one landed on my mobile today. They claimed to be from Sky, saying they could cut my monthly bill by 40%. I hung up twice before, but today I finally said, "That’s nonsense. You’re a scammer and it’s shameful. Goodbye."Sky2 yearsSkys always calls with dodgy stuff, total scam in my book.Sky2 yearsBloody persistent these people are! They keep ringing me up, different voices each time, all sounding Asian. They say they’re from Sky and try the same old trick. I told them if Sky really wanted me to get a discount, they should send it properly in writing with all the info. They mentioned some password, "Welcome1" I think, to claim some offer. My phone shows I’ve blocked the number, but it still manages to come through and make my phone ring! So annoying.Sky2 yearsI think this is a total rip-off. They claim you can get a 40% discount on your Sky bill and ask for your email. After that, they send a message telling you to reset your password to something like “welcome1” - seriously? I told them that if Sky wanted to reach me, they’d either send a letter or ask me to check through their official app. I wasn’t very nice telling them to stop calling, then I just blocked the number altogether.Sky2 yearsIt’s definitely a scam, don’t trust it.2 yearsDodgy lot! They tried to entice me with a Sky deal at half the price 😂. I just told them I’d check with Sky directly. Since then, they’ve bombarded me with calls for the last four days. Today alone, they rang me three times in a row! I’ve now had to block them.Sky2 yearsThis person was really forceful and quite nasty on the phone. There was a lot of noise in the background which made it all sound sketchy. After I told them off and ended the call, they rang me back and it felt like a proper scam. They kept trying to get me to confirm my email and probably would have asked for more if I hadn’t stopped them. I wouldn’t trust this number at all, it definitely doesn’t seem genuine.2 yearsI'm fairly certain it was a scam. Someone called pretending they were from Three mobile, saying they wanted to do a customer survey and offer me a discount. Felt dodgy to me.2 yearsThey rang me up twice within ten minutes, but when I answered, it was just dead silence for about ten seconds each time. Strange!2 yearsSomeone rang me up saying they were from Sky, trying to pretend they were my mobile provider. The line was so noisy with loads of background chatter, I hardly caught a word, which made me suspicious straight away. They insisted I needed to settle my entire bill right away - that’s when I realised it was definitely a scam.Sky2 yearsThey said they were calling from O2, sounded like they had an Asian accent. Honestly, I was having a rubbish day and lost it on the person, shouting at them over the phone. I really miss the days when we had rotary phones and you could just slam the receiver down. Now if you tried that, you’d probably be charged a fortune!Submit Your Own Report (020 3150 5398)
