Im from Bolivia and I keep getting calls everyday from this same number, with different voices on the line. Sometimes its men, other times women. Their opening line is always about whether I’m interested in moving to Australia and they pitch a bunch of options before asking about my job and how much I earn. What threw me off was when they said it was fine to tell them my income in Bolivianos - seemed really suspicious. They then asked for my credit card details and somehow already knew the start of my card number and even which bank it was from! They kept saying the call was being recorded for “quality reasons” and when they asked for the first 6 digits of my card, I gave them 4 right ones but lied about the last 2. They said my bank was recording too for security, which totally confirmed this was a scam. They told me there’s a fee to handle the paperwork for a visa to Australia for me and my family to live and work there. The fee depends on how much income you say you have. When I asked how they’d follow up, they said both by email and phone - and weirdly, they already had my email? They wanted $1000 USD paid today, saying the entire process costs about $4000 USD and could take anywhere between 6 to 18 months. The website they mentioned was something like ...pro-immigration.... I also noticed an email from them about immigration to the UK, which came about 2 days before they started calling me about Australia. Plus, they told me I’d have to visit the Australian Embassy here in Bolivia, which doesn’t even exist! Total scam, people. Don’t pick up or respond, just block this number: +44 20 3150 5318

It's really obvious they are trying to get your credit card details. It's nasty how they keep bombarding you with questions and then, out of nowhere, ask for your debit or credit card info. Watch out for those Visa ads on Instagram, I reckon that's where they grab your card info from.

Most likely you're connected to those folks trying to con Latin folks out of their money.

Got a call this morning from this number about some Visa application for Australia. As soon as I told them I never applied for any Visa, the bloke just ended the call straight away. I used to live in Australia for nearly 4 years but that was over 11 years ago since I returned to Brazil. Feels pretty odd to me!

The same number rang me but I missed the call.

This number called me out of the blue, claiming they had all my personal details and income info. They said they were from the government and were offering me assistance with moving and working in Australia. But honestly, it felt dodgy to me so I told them I wasn’t interested.

I've been gettin calls from this number for more than two weeks now, always really early in the morning here in Argentina. Once I answered, but there was noone on the other end, so I just blocked it afterwards.

Being in Malaysia, I just ignored the call 'cause it seemed like a total scam from the start.

I got calls from this number two days in a row, but I didn’t pick up since I don’t know anyone in the UK. If anyone has info about who they are or if it’s some kind of scam, please let us know. Would be great to warn others too so they can watch out for these calls.

For days, this number kept ringing me early in the morning. Eventually, I answered out of curiosity. They started off asking loads of questions about my job, how much I earn, and stuff like that. Then, out of nowhere, they asked for my card details to "check" if it could be used for payments in Australia. The odd bit? The caller ID showed a UK number (+44), which made no sense. I'm from Argentina, so the whole thing felt sketchy.

Hace unos días me empezaron a llamar con una historia parecida, decían que era una oferta para trabajar en Australia, pero lo raro es que la llamada venía del Reino Unido. Me preguntaron cosas como mi edad y cuánto gano, pero justo en un momento se cortó la llamada y no me pidieron ningún dato bancario ni nada. ¿Vos crees que esto pueda ser algún tipo de spam o estafa? Porque me pareció sospechoso.
